Queixumes dos Pinos born in 1994 in A Derrasa (Pereiro de Aguiar) with the aim of collecting, disseminating and promoting popular Galician folklore. Throughout these fifteen years of expertise, the group showed their performances, steeped in music, for many countries, thus become true ambassadors of our country's cultural tradition.
Currently, the group has formed a dance school for six hundred students of different ages and levels, distributed in many groups distributed by various centers and the province of Ourense. The core group consists forty-five components, including musicians, dancers and vocalists.
His performances are enriched by the presence of a wide variety of musical instruments such as bagpipes, the pandeireta, the bass drum, drum and accordion, not forgetting the traditional songs, played by CANTAREIROS and CANTAREIRAS of the group. The Queixume dos Pinos repertoire includes a variety of rhythms, from muiñeira, pasodoble, rumba and Jotas among others.
The group is also developing a major research work, collecting pieces of music and native choreography throughout the Galician territory. This is a great view shows that represent each and every one of his performances and thus become, in a faithful representation of our traditional culture.
